Growing up in a war-history-loving household, I'd often heard about the Red Baron of the First World War, but I never knew his story or even his name—Manfred von Richthofen. I'm so glad I do now.
The Red Baron was the most successful fighter pilot of the war and was such an amazing one, even his enemies admired and respected him.
I would love to say more, but I feel like the 2008 movie the The Red Baron says it better than I can. It's an amazing film. Not only is the Baron's story fascinating, but the way they told it through the writing and directing and captured it through the cinematography is simply stunning. It's honestly probably one of my favorite movies now.
